Downtown Long Grove is comprised of approximately 120 specialty shops and restaurants, most of which are open seven days a week, all year-round. The village has a variety of recreational programs from which to choose. Younger residents can participate in a number of classes including Kindermusik classes for newborns and toddlers and art and music classes. Adult classes include tennis, fencing, and martial arts programs, as well as yoga, pilates, cardio kickboxing, jazzercise, and dance lessons.
