Villagers tend to spend time challenging climbing wall, perfect their strokes at the golf learning center, and get fit at the aerobics and fitness centers at the Libertyville Sports Complex. They can also relax at the village's more than 600 acres of parks, take some art and music classes at the David Adler Cultural Center, play a round of golf at one of the area's many golf courses, and do some shopping in the historical downtown Heritage shopping district. Summertime activities include the Libertyville Days Festival featuring food vendors and carnival rides; a farmers market; lunch and music in Cook Park; and the Libertyville Days Parade.
